How To Use a DTF Transfer
- Set your Heat Press to 150-160 °C/300-320 °F. Align your transfer to desired position and press for 10-12 seconds (No Heat Damage to Fabric)
- After you've pressed the transfer, take a cloth and wipe over the surface of the transfer to ensure it has been pressed equally. You now have 2 options: Warm or Cool peel. Warm: Instantly after wiping it down, take the corner of the transfer and peel it off quickly in one swift motion. Cool: Wait around 60 seconds until it's cool to the touch and gently peel the transfer off while holding the garment down.
- Take a Teflon or Craft sheet and cover your print, then give it a second press for 5-10 seconds. (This is to cure the DTF print and ensure the adhesive+ink+fabric have bonded together.)
- Inspect the print to ensure that it has been pressed evenly, if all is well then you're done. Remove your garment and enjoy! (Always be clear of high temperatures when removing your shirt from your heat press.)
*Application varies upon heat press and garments being used
